Optimization Model for the Pavement Pothole Repair Problem Considering Consumable Resources

چکیده

When heavy rain strikes Taiwan, it always results in cracks road pavement, and damages arising from potholes. Tremendously compromising safety, users may have fatal accidents caused by untimely repair actions. The maintenance department needs to take the responsibilities for sections form of inspections faces decision about how properly allocate available resources pavement immediately. performing works, we need consider resource consumption behavior explore mechanism replenishing calculating return time. Therefore, order help units deal with consumable issues, this study proposes a novel approach offer calculation, which is difficult solve through traditional vehicle routing problem (VRP) approach. This proposed model treats pothole as resource-constrained project scheduling (RCPSP), capable resolving such considerations. was developed adopting constraint programming (CP) techniques. Research showed that providing optimal decisions tasks also meets practical requirements make appropriate adjustment, helps unit shorten total duration optimize assignment objectives.
